I’m so enthusiastic about the eggs and chicken I buy from Dan & Kathi Manville.  Most people I tell are equally enthusiastic, but I keep hearing the same thing: “I’d love to buy more local [something], but I don’t know how to find these people.”  So, I decided to build this site for a couple reasons.  One is my own desire to find, support, but mostly enjoy locally grown and made products.   The other is to share this information about the talented, resourceful, hard-working people who provide these goods.

The Wyo-Braska area has a long tradition of having a network of people supporting one another through neighborliness, family gardens and farms, churches and other community organizations. This foundation of support and the spirit of its people are still very strong.  Thanks for visiting and remember, happiness often lies in your own backyard.
